New York Jets running back Breece Hall is reportedly set to miss Week 8 due to a lingering quad injury, but the team is hopeful he can return in Week 9. According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Hall practiced on a limited basis all week but is not quite ready to play yet against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Hall has been sidelined since Week 3 after signing a three-year, $43.5 million extension during the offseason. In his absence, rookie running back Braelon Allen will continue handling lead duties as the Jets look to bounce back from a loss to the Miami Dolphins.
