Fifteen-Year Vet Has Logged 10 Tackles and 1 Sack in 2 Straight Games

New York Jets linebacker Demario Davis has established himself as a central defensive leader, recording 10 tackles and one sack in two consecutive games against the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears. The 37-year-old veteran leads all active NFL players with 970 career solo tackles and has reached 32 total tackles through four games this season.
Davis is only the second player in Jets franchise history to achieve back-to-back games with at least 10 tackles and a sack. Looking ahead to Sunday's matchup at MetLife Stadium against the Cleveland Browns, Davis praised quarterback Deshaun Watson while aiming to extend his historic streak.
