Jets vs Chiefs: Five Questions with Arrowhead Pride

Ahead of their Week 9 matchup against the New York Jets, Arrowhead Pride writer Maurice Elston broke down the Kansas City Chiefs in a Q&A session. The Chiefs enter the game looking to snap a two-game losing streak following a 5-0 start to their 2026 campaign. Elston highlighted the defensive pass-rush issues, noting Kansas City has produced only nine sacks through seven games.

Elston credited running back Kenneth Walker, who has 770 rushing yards, as the main spark behind Kansas City's offensive resurgence alongside quarterback Patrick Mahomes. He also praised rookie draft selections Mansoor Delane and Emmett Johnson, while noting Christian Roland-Wallace will see an expanded defensive role following an injury to cornerback L'Jarius Sneed.
