Why was Browns receiver KC Concepcion ruled out against the Jets? Here's what Minkah Fitzpatrick did and why his hit drew a penalty.

Cleveland Browns rookie receiver KC Concepcion was ruled out with a head injury following a hit by New York Jets safety Minkah Fitzpatrick at MetLife Stadium. Fitzpatrick drew a personal foul for hitting a defenseless player in the first quarter, his second penalty on that drive. Following the infraction, Andre Szmyt kicked a field goal to cut New York's lead to 7-3.
Fitzpatrick faces a potential NFL fine under enhanced discipline rules for hits on defenseless players, which the league typically announces on Saturdays. Concepcion, selected 24th overall in the 2026 NFL Draft, exited the game after recording 17 catches through Week 4.
