NFL star Joe Mixon honored the nine victims of a Florida Learjet crash after realizing he flew on the same plane with its pilots weeks earlier.

NFL running back Joe Mixon shared that he was devastated after learning he had flown on the exact Learjet 60 that recently crashed in Florida with the same two pilots just weeks prior. In a post on X, Mixon paid tribute to the crew, calling them incredible professionals, and specifically mourned 20-year-old co-pilot Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras.
The crash killed nine people, including pilot Jeff Gregory, Filgueiras, tech executive Adam Robinson, his wife Helen Sharp, their two young children, and three others. The flight was traveling from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas when it reported icing and turbulence before plummeting into a Palm Beach County mobile home park.
