Matt LaFleur and the Green Bay Packers had a night to forget Thursday against the Atlanta Falcons.
The Atlanta Falcons defeated the Green Bay Packers 35-14 on Thursday night, dropping Green Bay to a 1-2 record. Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. and running back Bijan Robinson led Atlanta's offense, while Jordan Love threw 53 passes with two touchdowns and an interception for the Packers.
According to The Athletic's Matt Schneidman, the defeat marks the largest home loss of Matt LaFleur's eight-year head coaching tenure and his first 1-2 start. The Packers played without injured running back Josh Jacobs and defensive contributor Micah Parsons, managing only 17 rushing yards as a team.
