Packers linebacker Zaire Franklin will miss Sunday's game against the Lions with a shin injury.

Green Bay Packers inside linebacker Zaire Franklin will miss Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions after suffering a shin injury during Thursday's practice. Head coach Matt LaFleur confirmed Franklin was kneed in the shin during a collision. However, the injury is not considered season-ending, and the team does not expect to place him on injured reserve.
Franklin's absence leaves Green Bay without both starting inside linebackers, following Edgerrin Cooper's season-ending Achilles tear three weeks ago. Isaiah McDuffie and Ty'Ron Hopper are expected to start against Detroit, while running back Josh Jacobs is on track to make his season debut.
