38-year-old backup Case Keenum rolls back the years to lead Bears past Eagles

Case Keenum threw two touchdowns and rushed for another to lead the Chicago Bears to a 27-7 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night. Starting in place of the injured Caleb Williams, the 38-year-old quarterback completed 24 of 34 passes for 247 yards in his first start in nearly three years. Keenum threw touchdown passes to Luther Burden and Kalif Raymond, along with scoring on a one-yard touchdown run.

The Chicago defense limited Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts to 153 passing yards and intercepted him once as Philadelphia committed three turnovers. Hurts briefly left the contest for a concussion evaluation following a hit from linebacker D'Marco Jackson, during which backup Andy Dalton threw an interception. Saquon Barkley rushed for 82 yards for Philadelphia as both teams moved to 2-1 on the season.
