Bill Cowher backs Nick Sirianni as Eagles spiral: ‘Give this guy a chance’

Hall of Fame head coach Bill Cowher defended Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni on the CBS pregame show amid a four-game losing streak and a 2-4 start to the season. Cowher urged Eagles fans and the front office to remain patient, calling Sirianni a winner and emphasizing that the team remains in the playoff hunt.

Cowher compared Sirianni's situation to his own coaching career with the Pittsburgh Steelers, noting the challenges of losing coordinators and managing roster turnover. The Eagles have recently faced major staff departures as well as significant roster adversity, including a season-ending condition for Jalen Hurts, injuries to key playmakers, and Lane Johnson's retirement.
