Eagles bring preseason standout back on the practice squad

The Philadelphia Eagles have signed cornerback Shaun Wade to their practice squad, the team officially announced on Thursday afternoon. Wade, who originally joined the Eagles in mid-June and turned 28 this month, spent training camp and the preseason with Philadelphia before being released during final 53-man roster cuts in late August.

Wade's signing restores the practice squad to full capacity following a series of roster changes earlier in the week. Philadelphia recently saw cornerback Robert Longerbeam sign with the Atlanta Falcons and safety Maximus Pulley join the Los Angeles Rams, alongside the release of defensive tackle Gabe Hall.
