Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter had a great performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but it's too bad it was wasted in a loss.

Inside the Iggles argues that the Philadelphia Eagles wasted a dominant individual performance by defensive tackle Jalen Carter in their 19-17 Week 5 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Despite the defeat, Carter recorded two sacks, two forced fumbles, three tackles for loss, and five total tackles against Jacksonville.
The writer notes that Carter played 81% of defensive snaps while wearing a cast for an ongoing wrist injury suffered in Week 1. Carter became the first NFL player since 2020 to record two strip sacks in a single game despite being double-teamed 40% of the time.
