He played just a handful of snaps and didn’t have a catch. But at least Eli Stowers finally got his first game action on Monday night against the Cowboys. And that’s something to build on.“It was awesome, man. It’s a blessing,&rdquo…

Philadelphia Eagles rookie tight end Eli Stowers is looking to build on his recent regular-season NFL debut against the Dallas Cowboys. The 23-year-old second-round draft pick out of Vanderbilt began his rookie campaign on injured reserve due to a quad injury, missing the team's first six games before being activated to the 53-man roster.
In his debut on Monday night, Stowers logged 12 offensive snaps with one uncompleted target, while also contributing on nine special teams snaps across kick and punt returns. Offensive coordinator Sean Mannion and veteran tight end Dallas Goedert both praised Stowers' work ethic, execution, and potential as the 2-5 Eagles prepare to face the Washington Commanders.
