The Philadelphia Eagles are not expected to have their top target available for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams. Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith has been dealing with a hamstring injury that has kept him sidelined throughout the week.
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith is not expected to play in Sunday's matchup against the Los Angeles Rams due to a hamstring injury. According to reports from ESPN's Tim McManus and Mike Garafolo, there is little optimism that Smith will suit up after missing practice throughout the week at Lincoln Financial Field.
Smith serves as the Eagles' primary receiver following the offseason trade of AJ Brown to the New England Patriots. Through three games, the 27-year-old leads Philadelphia with 19 receptions on 27 targets from quarterback Jalen Hurts. Meanwhile, the Rams are hoping to see the return of receiver Puka Nacua from a hip injury.
