The Philadelphia Eagles’ running back room has another injury to deal with. With Saquon Barkley and Tank Bigsby banged up, the Eagles saw running back Will Shipley go down with a lower-body injury during Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars…
Philadelphia Eagles running back Will Shipley suffered a partial tear of his plantar fascia during Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the injury could sideline Shipley for multiple weeks. Shipley exited the contest in the second quarter after scoring a rushing touchdown, leaving Dameon Pierce to lead the ground game with 14 yards on 11 carries.
The setback adds to growing injury troubles in Philadelphia's backfield, with Tank Bigsby already on injured reserve and Saquon Barkley sidelined due to a hamstring injury. The Eagles, currently on a three-game losing streak with a 2-3 record, will face the Carolina Panthers in Week 6 at Lincoln Financial Field.
