The Philadelphia Eagles and Carolina Panthers face significant roster shortages due to injuries heading into their Week 6 matchup. Philadelphia will be without running back Saquon Barkley due to a hamstring injury, while quarterback Jalen Hurts was placed on injured reserve with a superficial blood clot. Backup quarterback Tanner McKee will start for Philadelphia, and Dameon Pierce will start at running back with Barkley, Tank Bigsby, and Will Shipley all sidelined.
Carolina also carries a lengthy injury list, missing key cornerbacks Jaycee Horn and Mike Jackson, alongside edge rusher Nic Scourton. The Panthers will, however, see the 2026 debuts of offensive tackle Taylor Moton, defensive tackle Tershawn Wharton, and running back Trevor Etienne after opening their practice windows.
