Eagles Tackle Football Coach of the Week: Dennis Shaw, Chester High School

Chester High School head coach Dennis Shaw has been named the Philadelphia Eagles Tackle Football Coach of the Week, presented by Visa. Currently in his fourth season leading the Clippers, Shaw holds a 45-5 career record and has guided his team to an undefeated 10-0 season. A victory against Marple Newtown in the PIAA District 1 Class 5A playoffs would make him the winningest coach in school history.

Shaw has emphasized academics and personal mentorship alongside athletic success, helping multiple student-athletes earn college opportunities, including Syracuse freshman Shemaj Henry and Colorado State tight end Dominic Toy. The Clippers' current roster features freshman standout running back Sa'Mhad Williams, who has already surpassed 1,000 rushing yards this season.
