Jordan Mailata recently joined volunteers to witness how HopePHL promotes equity, resilience, and autonomy in the Philadelphia community.

The Philadelphia Eagles surprised local human services organization HopePHL with a $55,000 grant on October 20th in West Philadelphia. Offensive tackle Jordan Mailata and the Eagles Cheerleaders presented the donation as part of the team's A Fan of Change initiative, in partnership with the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Center for Violence Prevention.
During the visit, Mailata toured the Maynes Family Digital Learning Lab and supported community members during resume workshops. HopePHL, created through the merger of the People's Emergency Center and Youth Service, Inc., provides housing and trauma-responsive social services to local families.
