It is a concerning time for the Philadelphia Eagles as their quarterback Jalen Hurts is expected to be sidelined for the rest of the season after doctors discovered multiple blood clots in the quarterback’s lungs.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes expressed serious concerns after Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was diagnosed with multiple blood clots in his lungs. Speaking on the 96.5 The Fan podcast, Mahomes labeled the medical issue "extremely scary" and highlighted the life-threatening risks players can face beyond standard football injuries. Hurts is expected to be sidelined for the remainder of the season while receiving medical treatment.
An initial calf clot detected in London moved following Philadelphia's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, leading to the lung diagnosis. The Eagles released a statement expecting Hurts to make a full recovery without long-term effects once he completes a blood-thinner regimen. Sources reported the recovery process will sideline Hurts for at least three months.
