Rams pull fast one on Eagles with recent active roster acquisition

The Los Angeles Rams have signed safety Maximus Pulley to their active roster off the Philadelphia Eagles' practice squad. The transaction occurs ahead of a Week 4 matchup between the two teams, following the Rams placing running back Ronnie Rivers on injured reserve with a calf injury.

Pulley originally joined the Eagles as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Wofford, where he recorded five interceptions last season. Philadelphia was reportedly excited about Pulley's potential, but a crowded safety group prevented him from securing a spot on their active roster.
