Depot After Dark: Brissett Trade Details, Steelers’ Salute To Service Nominee, Heidenreich Helmet Decal

Steelers Depot rounded up several news items, including the terms of Jacoby Brissett's trade to the Baltimore Ravens, Jon Kolb's nomination for the Salute to Service Award, and a special helmet decal for Pittsburgh rookie Eli Heidenreich. The Ravens acquired Brissett and a 2027 fifth-round draft pick from the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for a 2027 fourth-round selection and a 2028 seventh-round pick following a significant injury to starting quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Former Steelers offensive lineman Jon Kolb was selected as the franchise's 2026 Salute to Service Award nominee for his nonprofit work assisting military veterans through Adventures in Training with a Purpose. Additionally, Steelers rookie running back Eli Heidenreich, a Navy graduate and United States Marine Corps reserve member, will wear a USMC helmet decal for the remainder of the season under the NFL's Salute to Service initiative.
