New Orleans Saints head coach Kellen Moore explained that traveling to Paris early in the week provides his team an advantage ahead of their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Unlike Pittsburgh, who scheduled their departure for Thursday, New Orleans arrived earlier in the week to give players time to explore the city, bond, and acclimate to the local time zone before their normal practice routines began.
Steelers Depot's Matthew Marczi notes that while the Steelers successfully used a late-week departure to defeat the Vikings in Ireland in 2025, the debate remains over whether arriving early or late is superior for international fixtures. Moore expressed gratitude to the Saints organization for facilitating the early trip, reporting that the team experienced a strong week of practice in France.
