Former Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Javon Hargrave is feared to have suffered a season-ending torn Achilles tendon. Hargrave, currently with the Green Bay Packers, sustained the injury late in Green Bay's 31-7 victory against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Packers head coach Matt LaFleur confirmed the development, noting that Hargrave is scheduled for an MRI on Monday to evaluate the extent of the damage.
Hargrave joined the Packers this spring following his release from the Minnesota Vikings. The 33-year-old was originally drafted by the Steelers in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft, spending four seasons in Pittsburgh before stints with the Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, and Minnesota.
