The Pittsburgh Steelers are in a very rough spot at the wide receiver position. They have two starters currently on Injured Reserve (IR) and Ben Skowronek, one of the primary reserves along with being one of Aaron Rodgers' favorite teammates…
The Pittsburgh Steelers are dealing with severe depth issues at wide receiver due to multiple injuries across the roster. Two starting wide receivers remain on injured reserve through at least the Week 9 bye, while reserve receiver and special teams standout Ben Skowronek continues to miss time after sustaining a calf injury against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 5.
To address the shortage alongside DK Metcalf, Pittsburgh brought back Marquez Valdes-Scantling for short-term depth. Analyst Kaboly reported that Skowronek is expected to miss another week as Pittsburgh travels to Paris for Week 7, with the team potentially holding him out through their upcoming bye week.
