The Pittsburgh Steelers have released their updated depth chart ahead of their Week 8 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. The only roster adjustments stem from injured reserve moves, notably the removal of defensive lineman Sebastian Joseph-Day after he suffered a triceps injury. Safety DeShon Elliott was activated from IR, slotting behind Jaquan Brisker and ahead of Robert Spears-Jennings.
Following Joseph-Day's shift to IR, Pittsburgh retains an open spot on the 53-man roster. Wide receiver Brandon Smith is expected to be considered for a full roster promotion due to injuries to Michael Pittman Jr. and Roman Wilson, while defensive lineman Kevin Jobity Jr. effectively steps into Joseph-Day's role.
