QB stock report, Week 7: Is C.J. Stroud back? Josh Allen loses top spot to top rival

In this Week 7 quarterback stock report, the writers evaluate C.J. Stroud's resurgence following Houston's 0-4 start. Stroud led the Texans to consecutive wins, including a 34-31 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in London where he passed for 312 yards and three touchdowns. Meanwhile, the analysis moves Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes past Buffalo's Josh Allen for the No. 1 ranking after Mahomes earned his 100th career regular-season victory.

The piece also examines the Philadelphia Eagles' quarterback situation after Jalen Hurts was ruled out for the remainder of the season due to blood clots. Following a 25-14 loss to Carolina with backup Tanner McKee starting, Philadelphia faces the choice between continuing with McKee or pursuing veteran options such as free agents Jimmy Garoppolo and Brandon Allen.
