The 49ers made a splash for DeForest Buckner, but Matt Maiocco says there likely won't be any more major trade deals going through.

NBC Sports Bay Area insider Matt Maiocco reported that the San Francisco 49ers are unlikely to execute another blockbuster trade ahead of the November deadline. Having already acquired Pro Bowl defensive tackle DeForest Buckner from the Indianapolis Colts for a fourth-round pick, general manager John Lynch is reportedly done making major splash moves.
Maiocco noted on KNBR 680 that any further additions would likely mirror last year's acquisition of Keion White, targeting affordable depth players rather than expensive stars. He added that the 49ers value their first-round draft picks, effectively ruling out high-profile targets like New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson.
