San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle addressed the team's depleted wide receiver unit following a 29-20 defeat to the Atlanta Falcons. Dealing with extensive injuries, the 49ers dressed only four active wide receivers as Mike Evans, Deebo Samuel, Ricky Pearsall, and rookie De'Zhaun Stribling were all ruled out of the contest. Kittle acknowledged the offense looks entirely different without key targets but voiced confidence in the roster moving forward.
Despite the loss, quarterback Brock Purdy threw for 288 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions. Kittle praised head coach Kyle Shanahan and offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak for designing workable game plans, highlighting Brandin Cooks and Jordan Watkins as contributors stepping into expanded roles.
