Jauan Jennings-49ers scuttlebutt makes even more sense after WR’s sideline tirade

Writer Peter Panacy argues that a San Francisco 49ers trade reunion with wide receiver Jauan Jennings makes sense following Jennings' sideline frustration with the Minnesota Vikings. Despite Minnesota's 5-0 start, Jennings has recorded only two receptions for nine yards on five targets across five games. With NFL Network's Ian Rapoport speculating that Jennings could be a trade target, Panacy suggests a deal would benefit both franchises.

San Francisco faces significant wide receiver injuries, with Deebo Samuel sidelined by a hamstring injury alongside several banged-up depth options. Panacy notes that the Vikings might accept modest compensation, such as a seventh-round draft pick, to move Jennings, who previously spent years in San Francisco's offensive system.
