It's time for another week of Niner Noise Power Rankings, and it's looking a bit thin for the NFC as the San Francisco 49ers sit atop for at least one more week.

Jeremy Wohlfart of Niner Noise ranks the San Francisco 49ers at number one in his Week 9 NFL power rankings following their bye week. Despite not playing, the 6-1 49ers benefited from the Seattle Seahawks' defeat and completed a trade to reacquire defensive tackle DeForest Buckner. Wohlfart argues that the Chicago Bears, placed at number three, are currently the only NFC squad that comes anywhere close to challenging San Francisco's standing.
The Buffalo Bills take the second overall spot as the highest-ranked AFC team following a dominant win over Baltimore. Wohlfart highlights significant roster moves across the league, noting Chicago's acquisition of Jeffrey Simmons and New York's divisional rise with J.J. McCarthy. Meanwhile, the Baltimore Ravens fell to 26th following Lamar Jackson's potential season-ending thumb injury, while the winless Los Angeles Chargers sit in last place at 32nd.
