Drew Lock recorded solid play in place of Sam Darnold in the Seattle Seahawks, and he had head coach Mike Macdonald singing his praises.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Drew Lock successfully stepped in after starter Sam Darnold suffered an injury during the season opener against the New England Patriots. Head coach Mike Macdonald chose not to acquire another quarterback, trusting Lock to lead the offense while Darnold faced a multi-game absence.
In Week 2, Lock led Seattle to a 31-7 victory over the Arizona Cardinals to bring the team to a 2-0 record. Lock completed 19 of 26 passes for 235 yards and three touchdowns without committing any interceptions or fumbles, earning praise from Macdonald as Darnold potentially nears a Week 3 return.
