Vernon Davis took one of the most famous hits in NFL history, and he now says his first thought was not about the man who delivered it. The former 49ers tight end went on Uninterrupted Weekly and was asked about…

Former San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis revealed that his immediate frustration after suffering a brutal concussion against the Seattle Seahawks in 2012 was aimed at quarterback Colin Kaepernick rather than safety Kam Chancellor. Speaking on Uninterrupted Weekly, Davis agreed that Kaepernick threw him a dangerous pass along the sideline, joking that upon getting up, he just wanted to kill his quarterback.
The collision occurred during Seattle's 42-13 victory on December 23, 2012, knocking Davis out of the game with a concussion and whiplash. Although Chancellor was penalized on the field, the NFL did not fine him, and Davis recovered in time to participate in the 49ers' postseason run that year.
