After a tough loss to the San Francisco 49ers, the Seattle Seahawks are no longer the top team in the NFC West for the first time this season.

12th Man Rising's Ernesto Cova published updated NFC West power rankings following Week 5, dropping the Seattle Seahawks to second place. Cova argues that the Seahawks lost their division top spot following a defeat to the San Francisco 49ers, leaving Seattle with a 3-2 record under head coach Mike Macdonald.
The undefeated 5-0 San Francisco 49ers claimed the top ranking, while the 2-2 Los Angeles Rams ranked third and the 1-4 Arizona Cardinals placed fourth. Cova notes that while Seattle maintains a tough defense, erratic play and execution issues currently hold them back.
