Former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson shared his perspective on Sam Darnold's performance following the Seahawks' Week 8 loss to the Chicago Bears. Wilson stated that Darnold does not look comfortable or fully healthy since returning from injury, noting that the quarterback appears banged up as Seattle fell to a 4-4 record on the season.
In the defeat to Chicago, Darnold completed 17 of 34 passes for 188 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception, while being sacked three times. In response to the team's struggles, head coach Mike Macdonald emphasized recapturing the team's identity, while former cornerback Richard Sherman highlighted Seattle's 1-for-11 third-down conversion rate as a major ongoing issue.
