The Seattle Seahawks have a new owner, a Super Bowl title to defend, and one of the NFL’s most passionate fan bases behind them. But just weeks into Vinod Khosla’s ownership, one question about the franchise’s future has already started…
New Seattle Seahawks owner Vinod Khosla declined to promise that the franchise will remain in Seattle forever, stating "never say never" when questioned by Axios. However, Khosla emphasized that he has no current plans to alter the team's operations, leadership, or stadium arrangements, noting that the franchise functions well as it stands.
The Khosla family purchased the Seahawks from the Estate of Paul G. Allen for a record $9.612 billion, officially closing the deal in September. Lumen Field remains under lease through 2032 with options running through 2062, while head coach Mike Macdonald and general manager John Schneider remain in charge of football operations.
