The Story in 60 Seconds

The Seattle Seahawks officially signed veteran tight end Ben Sims to their practice squad on Tuesday after hosting him for a workout. Sims, a fourth-year veteran who stands 6-foot-5, adds depth at the position following an injury to tight end Elijah Arroyo, who was placed on injured reserve on October 19 with a shoulder issue.

Sims has appeared in 45 career NFL games across stints with the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings, recording 37 appearances with Green Bay from 2023 to 2025.
