A new trade proposal sees the Seattle Seahawks trade for Indianapolis Colts cornerback Sauce Gardner after the team fired GM Chris Ballard.

A trade proposal from Heavy outlines a move for the Seattle Seahawks to acquire two-time All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner from the Indianapolis Colts. Under the pitched scenario, Seattle would receive the 25-year-old defensive back in exchange for a 2027 first-round draft pick.
Writer Daniel Arwas argues the trade would allow Seattle to partner Gardner with Devon Witherspoon, offering greater schematic flexibility in the secondary. The suggestion follows changes in Indianapolis, where owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon recently dismissed general manager Chris Ballard following a 2-4 start to the season.
