The Cardinals are finalizing a deal to trade Marvin Harrison Jr., sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The Arizona Cardinals are finalizing a permanent trade involving wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., according to league sources. The team informed Harrison that he will be inactive for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions while the transaction is completed. The Houston Texans have held discussions and are considered squarely in the mix to acquire the former fourth overall pick, potentially reuniting him with college quarterback C.J. Stroud.
Harrison's pending departure follows a slow start to the season, recording only five catches on 12 targets for 85 yards through four games. Arizona initially sought first-round value, though other franchises have viewed him as worth second-day draft compensation. The Indianapolis Colts are reportedly not involved in trade discussions.
