The globally popular IP will join a range of alternate Super Bowl broadcasts produced and distributed across Disney's networks.

Super Bowl 61 will feature an animated “Star Wars”-themed alternate broadcast as part of ESPN's first Super Bowl production. The event, dubbed “Funday Football,” was announced during “Monday Night Football” and will air on Disney Channel, Disney XD, and Disney+ alongside the game on February 14.
The alternate broadcast continues Disney’s strategy following earlier animated NFL presentations featuring “Toy Story,” “The Simpsons,” and “Monsters, Inc.” Other scheduled alternate broadcasts for the event include the “ManningCast” with Peyton and Eli Manning on ESPN2 and “Field Pass with Pat McAfee” on ESPNU.
