The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have officially elevated quarterback Easton Stick and safety J.J. Roberts from their practice squad to the active roster for Thursday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys. With starting quarterback Baker Mayfield sidelined, Stick will serve as the primary backup to Jalon Daniels in Week 5.
This marks the second consecutive week Stick has been elevated to Tampa Bay's active roster. The 30-year-old quarterback was originally drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers in 2019 and has spent time with the Atlanta Falcons and Indianapolis Colts before joining the Buccaneers.
