In the Bucs’ lone win, an offensive explosion over Dallas 24-16, Bucs running back Bucky Irving had his best game of the season. Coincidence? Well, Eric Moody of BSPN, a spreadsheeter, doesn’t think so. He believes if Bucky goes crazy…

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may lean heavily on running back Bucky Irving to secure a victory against the Carolina Panthers, according to an analysis cited from Eric Moody. With quarterback Baker Mayfield returning from a dislocated thumb suffered against Minnesota, the Buccaneers could prioritize a run-heavy offensive game plan.
Irving has logged at least 15 carries across five consecutive games while averaging 4.7 yards per carry this season. JoeBucsFan notes that Carolina's defense ranks 27th in the NFL against the run, allowing 132 rushing yards per contest.
