Cedric Gray's snap count is finally climbing in Tennessee. After listening to Gus Bradley's press conference, the reason the Titans held him back has a familiar ring to it. . .

Tennessee Titans coach Gus Bradley revealed during a Week 7 press conference that linebacker Cedric Gray's playing time was limited due to communication concerns. Bradley explained that Gray needed to improve his on-field communication to earn more snaps, noting that recent progress has finally led to an increase in his playing time alongside teammates Alontae Taylor, Cody Barton, and Josh Williams.
Writer Easton Freeze argues that the coaching staff's open admission indicates Gray is moving past his previous limitations and could soon secure a starting role. Freeze notes that communication was also an issue for Gray under the previous coaching staff, but Bradley's comments signal that the young linebacker is making meaningful strides.
