It's the sad reality of being a 1-6 team that simply cannot win on Sundays; the future matters more than the now.
Tennessee Titans fans expressed heartbreak and frustration following the trade of franchise star Jeffery Simmons to the Chicago Bears on Thursday. The 1-6 Titans dealt the defensive tackle for future draft picks in a permanent trade, leaving supporters feeling devastated over the departure of their team leader.
Beyond his performance on the field since 2019, supporters highlighted Simmons' extensive community work in Middle Tennessee. Through his GiveEmAReason foundation, he assisted single parents in purchasing homes and frequently worked with local youth organizations.
