Senior Writer and Editor Jim Wyatt tackles another batch of questions from Titans fans.

Tennessee Titans senior writer Jim Wyatt addressed widespread fan frustration in a mailbag following the trade of defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons to the Chicago Bears. With the Titans sitting at a 1-6 record ahead of their Sunday game against the Cincinnati Bengals, supporters expressed deep dismay over moving the franchise cornerstone for future draft capital.
Wyatt explained that the decision was initiated by General Manager Mike Borgonzi, involved head coach Robert Saleh, and received approval from owner Amy Adams Strunk. The trade netted Tennessee two first-round draft picks in 2027 and 2028, which Wyatt noted will only benefit the franchise long-term if the front office executes the selections properly.
