Defensive tackle Jordan Elliott is released by the Tennessee Titans after he pulled a gun in the car park of the team facility.

The Tennessee Titans have released defensive tackle Jordan Elliott after he pulled a gun in the team facility's parking lot following a practice altercation. Titans coach Robert Saleh confirmed that the incident occurred on October 15 following a dispute between Elliott and offensive tackle JC Latham. The 28-year-old subsequently missed Sunday's victory against the Indianapolis Colts before being officially cut by the franchise on Tuesday.
Saleh characterized the incident as a potential cry for help, defending Elliott's overall character while citing strict team rules regarding weapons on property. Latham also addressed the situation, noting there was no prior bad blood between them and highlighting the importance of mental health. Elliott, who appeared in five games this season, previously played for the Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers.
