Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson expressed excitement about teaming up with close friend Odell Beckham Jr., whom he called a "brother." Beckham joined the Vikings' practice squad on Wednesday after being released by the New York Giants, reuniting with head coach Kevin O'Connell, who previously coached him on the Los Angeles Rams.
Jefferson revealed that he and Beckham had long spoken about eventually playing together. Both receivers are alumni of LSU, where Beckham previously played alongside Jefferson's older brother, Jordan Jefferson. Meanwhile, the 27-year-old Jefferson is currently managing an ankle injury as Beckham arrives to add depth.
