Amik Robertson’s Eagles guarantee puts Commanders’ pride on the line

Washington Commanders cornerback Amik Robertson effectively guaranteed a victory ahead of their upcoming Sunday Night Football matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. When asked during locker-room media availability whether a win was guaranteed, Robertson stated, "It has to be." The comments place heightened urgency on head coach Dan Quinn's 1-4-1 team as they return from a bye week.

Dean Jones of Riggo's Rag argues that Robertson's bold proclamation increases pressure on the franchise, warning that a loss could be disastrous for Quinn. The Eagles enter the contest having lost five consecutive games and dealing with injuries, including quarterback Jalen Hurts being ruled out for the season.
