Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn stated that ongoing penalties prevented his team from playing a complete game despite their 27-10 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football. After falling behind 10-0 in the first quarter, Washington rallied with 27 unanswered points to improve to 2-4-1 on the season. Quinn noted the team played well for three quarters but is still searching for a full four-quarter performance.
Quinn also addressed an injury to running back Jeremy McNichols, who exited the game with a concerning mid-foot injury that could sideline him long term. With Bill Croskey-Merritt on injured reserve due to a groin injury, Washington may rely on practice squad running backs Craig Reynolds and Devin Neal or explore outside options.
