San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. won't get the chance for revenge against the Washington Commanders after suffering a hamstring injury.

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. will miss multiple weeks with a hamstring injury, ruling him out of a matchup against his former team, the Washington Commanders. Head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed the injury following San Francisco's victory against the Seattle Seahawks. Samuel rejoined the 49ers in free agency after Washington opted against bringing him back this past offseason.
Dean Jones writes that missing the Week 6 Monday Night Football game denies Samuel a revenge opportunity against the Commanders. However, the writer notes that Washington head coach Dan Quinn faces larger issues after tying the New York Giants, even as the 5-0 49ers battle extensive injuries across their wide receiving corps.
