Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels suffered a dislocated left elbow just before halftime in a 37-20 Week 2 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The injury occurred on a goal-line play when Daniels stumbled and landed hard on his extended non-throwing arm. Following the game, former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens criticized the Commanders' training staff on the Get To The Point podcast, stating they failed the quarterback regarding his rehabilitation.
Daniels had previously dislocated the same elbow against the Seattle Seahawks in November 2025. Despite criticism regarding the aggressive play-call before halftime rather than attempting a field goal, Commanders head coach Dan Quinn stated he stood by the third-and-goal decision.
