The Washington Commanders are facing another difficult injury situation involving quarterback Jayden Daniels, and the team will be without its star quarterback for at least Week 3.
Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels suffered a dislocated left elbow during Sunday's 37-20 loss against the Dallas Cowboys. The injury occurred on the final play of the first half, and head coach Dan Quinn confirmed Daniels will miss at least Week 3 against the Seattle Seahawks.
While initial X-rays revealed no fracture, Daniels is undergoing further imaging and consulting specialists to determine a recovery timetable. Veteran Marcus Mariota will start at quarterback for the Commanders while Daniels recovers from the setback to his previously injured elbow.
